What We Believe

We are a faithful bible teaching Anglican church, who believe in one God. Through him all things were created and in him all things hold together.  We were created in his image but all fall short of his glory because of sin. Because of his great love for us God sent his only son to take on human form to rescue us from our sin. By dying on the cross he took all the punishment that we deserve on him so that we can be reconciled to God.  This is a work of God’s grace and in no way can be earnt.  This gift of grace is open to all who will believe and trust in his name.  Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day and is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven. He will one day come back to judge the living and the dead.  God reveals himself to us through his word the bible to help us grow in our knowledge and love for him. So do come along to a Sunday service to hear more about this amazing God who offers us everlasting peace and hope.

You can read more about the theology we hold to expressed in the Thirty-Nine Articles and the Book of Common Prayer.
